Mirza Fur has over 20 years' experience within the tech marketing sector and is the Co-Founder of leading Tech Marketing agency - Kingpin Communications.

Working with technology brands such as Microsoft, Trend Micro, Quest Software, LogRhythm to name a few, he is passionate about engaging and understanding end-user and partner audiences and most importantly, ensuring marketing drives revenue and results. 


1. What was your first ever job?
Saturday job in a menswear shop in glamourous Croydon. However my first full time job was advertising sales on technical monthly publications covering software development & database administration topics

2. Why did you get into the channel world?
The channel is a critical part of the IT purchasing ecosystem so is relevant to anyone in marketing or sales within the tech sector

3. What does your current role entail?
Working with technology vendors to deliver maximum ROI from their marketing investments both thru channel partners or directly from the end user audiences


4. What have been the most significant challenges for the channel in recent years?
Transformation of business models to adapt to cloud technologies and into areas such as managed services
