Clark Wilson, managing director, Barrachd
After gaining a Masters in Offshore Engineering from Cranfield Institute and starting his career with British Shipbuilders, Clark joined IBM in the Mid 80s. Following various sales and sales management roles within IBM including lengthy postings in the Middle East, Clark moved into IBM's Business Partner community in the late 90s to develop IBM Value Add reseller businesses as Sales Director at Morse Group and then Commercial Sales Director at SCH Group.
In 2007 Clark formed Barrachd Limited along with two long term colleagues. Barrachd provides Business Analytics Consultancy and Solutions covering both Business intelligence and Planning. In the initial three years of trading the business has grown to 30 people and a turnover of in excess of £6m, growth plans are aggressive. Clark's role is primarily that of MD although responsibilities still include a degree of Sales and Sales Management.
