Cloud computing has already proven to bring multiple benefits to the channel - it is flexible, scalable and guarantees recurring revenues.
Customer demand for cloud technologies keeps growing and, according to the Cloud Industry Forum, the number of UK organisations that have formally adopted at least one cloud service has grown from 78 per cent in 2014 to 84 per cent in 2015 alone. At the same time a move from selling traditional products and services to selling cloud puts resellers in a tricky situation. It requires new skills, financial model transformation and puts channel players in a position where they compete not only with other resellers but with vendors as well.
